| Responsibilities: | • To facilitate the implementation of safety & health procedures and conduct safety audits. • Identify, investigate and report the causes of incidents & accidents and conduct risk assessments and facilitate training for employees with respect to all safety issues. • Secretary in the minutes of safety & health committee meetings. • Conduct safety inspections of emergency equipment such as firefighting equipment & first aid facilities. • Responsible for preventing or reducing environmental risks and formulating environmental protections and procedures. • Legislation applicable to the Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974. • Report the performance of the environmental management system to top management as a basis for EMS improvement. |
